This book focuses on the silent life that surrounds and engulfs the daily rhythms of the city. The fine hatching of the silverpoint allows for the leaves and branches to appear as though out of focus, ever present yet only speaking in a whisper. As the book progresses, the interludes between each folio form a crescendo of metal leaf, with the final page exulting in the branching silhouette of magnolia leaves amidst the otherwise soft and silent forms.
